A Central Queensland mother of five with a history of dishonesty offending has faced court again on more fraud charges.
Jaimi-Rae Lawton, 34, pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Wednesday to six counts of fraud and one count of receiving tainted property.
The court was told the tainted property charge related to a debit card and the fraud offences were all committed on the same day, involving a total amount of $344.98.
The court did not hear the specifics of the offending.
Lawton had a four-page criminal history which included previous fraud offending.
Solicitor Bianca Wieland said Lawton, a mother of five, was currently unemployed and she suffered from depression and Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for which she was medicated.
Magistrate Mary Buchanan placed Lawton on 12 months’ probation and ordered she pay $344.98 restitution.
Convictions were recorded.
