Kristen Leslie Olsen charged with murder

A Maryborough woman charged over the murder of a Biggenden baker and his daughter has had her matter briefly mentioned in court almost a year after the alleged crime.

A woman charged with murder over the deaths of a Biggenden baker and his 10-year-old daughter had her charges mentioned in Maryborough Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Kristen Leslie Olsen, 25, is charged with the murder of Todd Mooney and his 10-year-old daughter Kirra as well as torching a shed on their Fenwicks Rd property on December 20, 2022.

Detectives have charged Kristen Olsen, 24, with two counts of murder and one of arson.

Ms Olsen’s matter was adjourned to February 12, 2024, by magistrate John Milburn when it was mentioned on Monday, December 11

It was earlier reported that Ms Olsen appeared on social media as a tattooed travel blogger who had lived across Queensland from the Fraser Coast to Cairns, and listed Daydream Island Resort in the Whitsundays as her most recent employer.

She has been remanded in custody.
