Daniel Noel Holm charged with murder of Alana Martin

A man charged with the murder of his former partner, a much-loved mum of four, has found out what he can expect next in his case.

A man charged with murder over the death of his former partner has had his case mentioned in Maryborough Magistrates Court.

Daniel Noel Holm had his matter briefly mentioned on Tuesday as it continues to proceed through the courts.

Police allege Mr Holm killed Alana Martin, a much-loved mum of four, at her home at Owanyilla in January.

Mr Holm, 43, was charged after he attended the Maryborough Police Station about 5.30pm on January 28.

After that, police went to a home at Owanyilla on Old Gympie Road and found the 30-year-old Maryborough woman dead inside the home.

Police have not said how they allege Ms Martin was killed.

The matter was adjourned until October 1.

Mr Holm remains in custody and has not entered a plea.
