Graduating high school – one of the biggest milestones in our lifetime – is a mammoth achievement for school leavers let alone being awarded school dux.
The region’s former high school duxes have gone on to achieve their dreams, kick goals, or become inspirations, stalwarts or simply well-loved within their community, and the Fraser Coast Chronicle is on a quest to find and celebrate them and what they have gone on to achieve.
We have featured many duxes over the years, including Fraser Coast Anglican College 2022 dux Aaron Shanmugam, who won the subject prize for chemistry and mathematics (specialist) and was a prefect and college captain.
Fraser Coast 2023 school captains revealed
In 2019, St Mary‘s College graduate Molly Clarke achieved an OP 1 and took the title of dux.
