A much-loved partner and father will be farewelled in Maryborough after he was killed in a tragic farming accident earlier this month.

A funeral will be held for Adrian Struber, 58, at the Heritage Chapel at Maryborough Crematorium on September 19 from 1pm.

The incident happened on September 5 at Mr Struber’s farm, Rubyvale, in Moola, near Dalby.

A police spokesman confirmed they had been called to the scene following Mr Struber’s death.

“Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the sudden and non-suspicious death of a 58-year-old Moola man at a private property in Moola on September 5,” he said.

Mr Struber’s longtime partner, Johanne Hawke-Trap announced the tragic news on social media.

“It is with great sadness and devastation I let those who don’t know, Adrian was tragically taken from us on the 5th of September in an accident here on the farm,” she wrote.

Her announcement was met with tributes and an outpouring of grief by dozens of commenters.

In his funeral notice, Mr Struber was also remembered as a beloved father, stepfather and grandfather.

“Friend to many. Sadly missed by his cows and dogs,” the heartbreaking notice read.
