Mr Casey’s children paid tribute to their beloved dad on social media.

Daughter Brittany said she and her brother Mitchell were “devastated” to share the news of their father’s death in a tragic accident with his friends and family.

“We love you so much dad and cannot believe our time with you has been cut so short,” she wrote.

Mitchell wrote: “Rest in peace to the legend, my best mate and the best dad I could ever have asked for”.

A funeral will be held for Mr Casey at the Orana Chapel at J Kirk and Sons’ Hervey Bay Crematorium on September 20 from 11am.
