Queensland Fire Department, Western Downs Regional Council crews work to fix suspected gas leak at Dalby property

A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital following a suspected gas leak at a property on Ormonde Court in Dalby.

Ambulance crews arrived at the scene at about 11.26am noting the smell of gas and finding a woman suffering from shortness of breath.

She was taken to the Dalby Hospital in a stable condition.

Two Queensland Fire Department crews and Western Downs Regional Council staff remain on scene with QFD employing gas detectors to find the source of the leak and council turning off the gas valves to the street and inspecting the gas line for leaks.

The property has been evacuated and crews are working to resolve the suspected leak.
