MEET Meg, Dalby's newest journo on the block.
Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
Emma Stone, 100per cent. She can sing and I can't, so maybe she can make people believe that I'm actually a great singer.
What do you think the greatest invention has been?
The NutriBullet is definitely up there for me. I had to part with my NutriBullet when I moved here because it actually belonged to my little brother (sorry Angus).
Do you have any lucky items, objects or traditions?
I wouldn't say this is lucky, but I ALWAYS need to carry a scrunchie with me. I also wear the same four rings every day, without fail. I don't feel human until I have my rings on.
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?
Letter writing. I used to use an old-fashioned typewriter to write letters to my Nanny and Poppy. I wrote a letter to Kevin Rudd once and got a reply, which I was pretty stoked about.
What three things do you think of most each day?
"If I fall asleep right now at 9.24pm and wake up 6.15am, I'll get eight hours and 51 minutes' sleep.”
(I repeat this until I eventually do fall asleep.)
"Damn it, I forgot my keys.”
"Do I have time to exercise or should I just give up and try again tomorrow?”
What's been the best decision you've made in your life so far?
Travelling. I've travelled to 13 countries in the past 18months of my life and I have learnt heaps about myself and the world around me.
What do you love most about where you live?
I'm from Brisbane originally but lived in Sydney for 11 years, so I love that I'll have the freedom to support the Queensland Origin side without being yelled at.
What was your first car? (Or what would you like it to be?)
My first car is the one I have now, which is a Hyundai i30.
What do you consider is the most important appliance in a house?
I'm a big breakfast kind of gal, so any appliance that contributes to making breakfast is pretty irreplaceable.
What historical period would you like to live in if you could actually go back in time?
I'd love to go back to the late '70s or early '80s.
I'd also like to go back and meet my parents when they were my age and just started dating. My mum and dad are two peas in an enormous love-filled pod and I would love to go back and see their lives pre-Meg.
