ON CHRISTMAS Eve night Dalby Baptist Church welcomed Christmas in the best way possible - with song and dance.
With the last-minute cancellation of Carols by Candlelight two weeks ago, the Baptist Church was quick to organise their own carols event so locals could share in the festive fun.
In what was a good night of carol singing, the Baptist Church in Dalby was full with families, friends, and complete with a live band accompanying the room of singers.
The carols were held from 6pm to 7pm, and was a very family friendly event. The night even featured a puppet show for all the children who came along.
Pastor Rob Rogers was excited to hear all of Dalby come and sing together in what was a very festive celebration.
"It's just a good solid sing-along,” MrRogers said.
"We've got good music, and when people raise their voices for carols it sounds terrific!”
No amount of rainfall, thunderstorms or wild weather could have stopped this carols event from going ahead. The event was held indoors, and ended with the auctioning off of the Christmas tress from the annual Christmas Tree decorating competition.
