Millmerran man dies scene following horror crash on Leichhardt Highway at Miles

A man has tragically died, and a man and woman taken to hospital, following a “very serious” crash west of Chinchilla.

A man has tragically died after a crash on the Leichhardt Highway on Sunday afternoon.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the incident near Roxborough Road, south of Miles, at 5.12pm.

A 64-year-old Millmerran man died following the incident.

A woman in her 50s with a back and shoulder injury and man in his 20s were transported to Miles Health Service in a stable condition.

The highway was partially blocked for about four hours before being cleared.
