Miles man charged with murder over death of Jonathan Martin, to appear in Toowoomba court
A man has been charged with the murder of Miles resident Jonathan Martin, who was killed after an alleged late-night altercation.

A Western Downs man will face court on Monday after being charged with the murder of fellow Miles resident Jonathan Martin.
Mr Martin was found unconscious outside a Hawkins Street address in Miles on Tuesday March 21 about 11pm, with an injury to his chest.
The 44-year-old later died in hospital after paramedics tried to revive him.
Police on Saturday revealed a 26-year-old Miles man had been charged with his murder.
Detectives will allege the man was involved in an altercation with Mr Martin on Hawkins Street about 9.45pm.
Police say Mr Martin was then struck before falling to the ground.
The arrest was secured as part of Operation Victor Decade, which investigated the circumstances behind Mr Martin’s death.
The 26-year-old was charged with one count of murder and will face the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday.
