Tributes flow for Blackwater teen Jayden Ireland

Family and friends of a beloved Blackwater teenager have paid tribute to him, following his sudden death.

A Blackwater teenager has been remembered by family and friends as a “cheeky” and “caring” boy who was “full of life”.

Tributes are flowing for Jayden Ireland, 18, who died suddenly on Saturday, May 22.

“Yesterday my life was completely turned upside down when I received a call that my precious boy was no longer here with us,” his mum Rachael Coyle shared to Facebook.

“No more hugs or kisses or I love you’s and honestly that’s all I need from you right now.

“I love you with all of my heart kiddo.”

She said he was an amazing son, brother and friend, who was loving, caring and fun.

“You left such an impact on everyone you met and my boy did you know a lot of people.

“I’m so very thankful for the 18 years and five months that we got to spend with you, but I am so absolutely heartbroken that that’s all we got.

“You had so much life to live and love to give.

“Life will never be the same without you by our side.”

Friends, family and Blackwater community members have taken to Facebook to pay tribute to the much-loved teen, who attended Rockhampton State High School and Emmaus College.

“Rest in peace Jayden, I will always love you as your younger brother and I will always look up to you,” Riley Ireland said.

“We are absolutely shocked and heartbroken. We will always remember that cheeky smile and his mischievous antics. I only wish I knew what to say. Rest in peace Jayden,” Nic Bartley said.

“Absolutely devastated. He was a fantastic young kid, full of life. RIP young man,” Patrick Horne said.

“Rest In Peace Jayden. Fly high. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten,” Maria Wilko said.

It is understood Jayden died in Blackwater and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his passing.
