Drink drivers, or drug drivers sentenced in Yeppoon court
A mine worker, a painter and an artist were among the latest Central Queensland traffic offenders to face court to get their punishments.

The following people pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court to either drink driving or drug driving offences.
Drink driving

Mark Allen Stegman, 49
Stegman blew a reading of .070 after he was intercepted by police on Forest Road, Byfield, on March 8.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on May 8 to drink driving and unlicensed driving.
The court heard when police busted Stegman driving, his licence was SPER suspended.
With one prior similar offence in the past five years, Stegman, an artist and father of two, was fined $850 by Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale and disqualified from driving for four months.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Colin Charles Buntain, 73
Buntain blew a reading of .175 after police stopped him on Matthew Flinders Drive, Yeppoon, on April 7.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on May 1 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Buntain, a retiree, was fined $1050 by Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale and disqualified from driving for nine months.

Narelle Colleen Allen, 48
Allen blew a reading of .114 after she was intercepted by police on the Scenic Highway, Yeppoon, on April 11.
She pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on May 8 to drink driving.
With no prior similar offending, Allen, who works in the mines, was fined $650 by Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale and disqualified from driving for three months.
She successfully applied for a restricted work licence.
No traffic conviction was recorded.
Timothy David Ladhams, 57
Ladhams blew a reading of .066 after he was intercepted by police on the Scenic Highway at Yeppoon on April 11.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on May 1 to drink driving.
With no prior similar offending, Ladhams was fined $350 by Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale and disqualified from driving for one month.

Shannon Douglas Craig, 43
Craig had both methamphetamine and cannabis in his system when he was caught driving on Yeppoon Road, on January 20.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on May 1 to drug driving.
With a previous similar offence in the past five years, Craig, a qualified painter and father of one, was fined $550 by Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale and disqualified from driving for four months.
A traffic conviction was recorded.

Antony Noel Knobben, 51
Knobben had cannabis in his system when police tested him on the Scenic Highway at Yeppoon on January 9.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on May 1 to drug driving.
The court heard Knobben, a father of four who works for a civil mining company, was prescribed medicinal cannabis.
With no prior offending of this sort, Knobben was fined $350 by Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale and disqualified from driving for one month.
No traffic conviction was recorded.
