Scott Warren voted Bundaberg’s Most Eligible Bachelor 2025

Meet the self deprecating bloke voted Most Eligible Bachelor in the Bundaberg region 2025, and what he reckons his ‘instigator’ mates owe him for making this all happen. See who made the top five:

After weeks of nominations, voting and plenty of friendly debate, the people of Bundaberg have officially voted Scott Warren as Bundaberg’s Most Eligible Bachelor for 2025.

The lighthearted poll drew 151 votes in total, with Scott claiming victory after securing 29 per cent of the final count.
His win placed him firmly at the top of Bundaberg’s eligible bachelor scene — at least for this year.

The water-skiing, golf-loving 38-year-old from Gin Gin was quick to play the whole thing down this week.

“Well righto, here goes nothing. This is well outside my comfort zone,” he said.

“I’d like to say good looks got me over the line but I’m pretty sure the votes came from mates and their partners.”

Scott owns a transport business and said that while he wasn’t expecting any perks from his new title, “the instigators of this probably owe me a beer or two”.

He added that the win had already come at a cost — in the form of friendly fire.

“Ah yeah mates… You bet they’re giving me grief and I feel it’s only just begun,” he said.

“I’m pretty lucky to have some great mates and I suppose while they’ve got me in their sights they’re leaving someone else alone.”

Scott isn’t planning a campaign to defend the crown in 2026, though he did not entirely ruled it out.

“Ah I’d really like to not be an eligible bachelor this time next year but who knows — but I like the retirement plan,” he said.

And while the public voted him number one, Scott reckons there are plenty of worthy bachelors still out there.

“I’m pretty sure I’m not the most eligible bachelor out there, either they weren’t nominated or didn’t come forward, but anyway… congrats to the other contestants and I hope they’re not bachelors for long.”

Close behind Scott in the final count was Aaron Thompson, who impressed voters enough to take home 17 per cent of the vote.

Noah Law rounded out the top three podium with 13 per cent.

The rest of the top five included Clayton Beer with 8 per cent and Arden Lankowski with 6 per cent.

While the title comes with no grand prize (other than bragging rights and perhaps a few more curious DMs), the competition was all in good fun, Scott says he is owed a few beers from his mates.
