Thieves made off with two rural fire fighting vehicles on Tuesday morning, then brazenly drove them through several suburbs of Bundaberg.

Police are urgently appealing for public help to track down two stolen Rural Fire Service Queensland trucks taken in a brazen early-morning theft at Winfield on Tuesday, July 15.
Unknown offenders broke into a shed on Rocky Point Road, Winfield, and made off with a yellow Nissan Patrol and a white Mazda BT50, neither have number plates but are clearly marked with Rural Fire Service insignia and loaded with firefighting equipment.
Alongside the vehicles, a significant haul of radios, computers, and essential tools was also stolen.
The stolen vehicles have been spotted driving through Bundaberg suburbs including Kepnock, Thabeban, and Alloway, prompting a swift police investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone who spots the vehicles or has dashcam footage from Rocky Point Road between 7am and 8am Tuesday to come forward immediately.
The search is ongoing to recover the vehicles and critical firefighting gear vital to keeping the community safe.
