A man and woman have been charged after emergency service vehicles and equipment were allegedly stolen during a break-in at the Winfield fire brigade last week.

A man and woman have been charged after emergency service vehicles and equipment were allegedly stolen during a break-in at the Winfield fire brigade last week.
Police allege that at about 8am on July 15, entry to the Rocky Point Road fire station was forced and two vehicles stolen, along with a large quantity of equipment including radios, computers and tools.
The next day, two bags containing suspected stolen property were found in a river about 7.10am.
On July 17, police went to a a property at Settlement Road, Horse Camp, while making inquiries into a single-vehicle crash the night before.
There, the found one of the stolen vehicles — a damaged white Mazda BT-50 — along with various items of stolen property, including electronic, medical, chemical, safety and uniform equipment.
A 28-year-old Svensson Heights man was charged with two counts of receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, stealing, and driving without a licence.
He appeared in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on July 18.
A 28-year-old Avenell Heights woman was charged with one count each of receiving tainted property and breaking and entering.
She is expected to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on August 4.
Investigations are ongoing, with police still searching for the second stolen vehicle — a yellow Nissan Patrol — and further missing equipment.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicle, or with dashcam footage from the Rocky Point Road area between 7am and 8am on July 15, to contact police.
