Paul John Stafford to go on trial over alleged stabbing attack
A 52-year-old Deepwater man accused of stabbing two men during a bloody attack will face a trial by jury.

A 52-year-old man accused of stabbing his two friends as they tried to escape his property had his case mentioned in the Bundaberg District Court on Monday.
The accused stabber, Paul John Stafford was not present in court.
His case has been adjourned for trial in August.
Police allege that on January 15, 2022, Mr Stafford stabbed the two men who were camping at his property on Maude Hill Road, Deepwater.
The alleged attack followed an argument, and police claim Mr Stafford stabbed the men after they attempted to leave, but their car battery was dead.
One man suffered deep wounds to his upper body, while the other was slashed in the leg but both survived.
