A Bundaberg man, who police allege was caught with child abuse images, will go to trial after a “technical data” delay was flagged.

A Bundaberg man will face trial in August 2025 after allegedly being caught with child exploitation material.

The case against Kimberley John Jenkinson was briefly mentioned in Bundaberg District Court on Monday, February 10.

His lawyer told the court about a “technical data disclosure” issue, and the case was adjourned to trial in August.

Mr Jenkinson is charged with one count of possessing child exploitation material and two counts of using a carriage service to access child abuse material.

The alleged offences occurred in April, 2023.
