Tragedy as three-year-old killed in single-car crash in central Queensland
A toddler has died in a car crash that also left an eight-month-old baby in hospital.

A three-year-old has died in a horror car crash in central Queensland.
Emergency services were called to Lowmead Road in Rosedale, a town situated between Bundaberg and Gladstone in central Queensland, after reports of a car crash.

Toddler killed in car crash
It’s understood a Mitsubishi ASX was driving on the road at 7.30pm Wednesday when it left the road and crashed.
Inside the car was the 38-year-old female driver, a three-year-old and eight-month-old.

Bystanders and emergency services attempted to help the three-year-old following the crash.
However, despite their best efforts, the toddler was declared dead at the scene.

The 38yo driver suffered minor injuries to her leg in the crash and was taken to Bundaberg Hospital for observation.
The eight-month-old passenger was not injured during the incident.

The Forensic Crash Unit has since launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
Queensland Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
