It was supposed to be an afternoon of celebration, glamour, and pre-wedding excitement. However, all eyes are now on the simmering tensions behind influencer Tammy Hembrow’s lavish Gold Coast hen’s party over the weekend.

The fitness mogul, 30, shared glamorous snapshots of the event on Instagram, co-organised by her sister Emilee Hembrow and best friend Isabella Laws.

Held at a luxurious rental property in Palm Beach on Saturday afternoon, the party featured a chic red-and-white-themed Italian lunch and a cheeky cocktail menu titled “Tammy’s Hall Passes,” with drinks named after Hollywood heart-throbs like John Krasinski, Pedro Pascal, Patrick Dempsey, and Keanu Reeves.

But despite the dazzling Instagram facade, reports are now surfacing of underlying family drama threatening to cast a shadow over her upcoming Byron Bay wedding to fiance Matt Zukowski, 29.

Rumours of friction between Tammy, her sisters Emilee and Amy, and even Zukowski himself have taken over online gossip forums, with speculation that her family doesn’t entirely approve of the match.

This tension was allegedly on full display during the bachelorette, with awkward interactions between Tammy and her sisters, who’ve made no secret of their concerns about the fast-paced relationship.

During a recent episode of Zukowski’s podcast Where’s Your Head At, Emilee and Amy labelled the Love Island star as “immature” and a “big baby” expressing doubts about Tammy’s whirlwind romance with the reality star.

“I feel I still feel they should have had a longer engagement. I think he’s immature. I think he’s got to do a lot of growing up (to do),” she said.

“Some of the stuff you say, that’s like a little teenager boy would say something like that, like a little baby, a big baby.”

Amy reportedly delivered a similar critique in a speech at the hens party, echoing her and Emilee’s sentiments from the podcast and suggesting the couple should slow things down.

“Before she met Matt. we had a plan for her next relationship, take things slow, date someone a little older, make sure they really get to know the family,” Amy said during her speech.

“But in true Tammy style, that plan completely flew out the window, and she met Matt and he didn’t tick any of those boxes.”

Netizens were quick to dissect the apparent tension at the hen party, with some accusing Tammy of putting on a brave face for the cameras.

“Tammy’s bachelorette bash is a masterclass in acting,” one user said on Reddit, adding that her solo dance breaks seemed like a failed attempt to appear carefree.

Others noted that staff at the event seemed “annoyed” with the proceedings, with one commenter branding the event “sad to watch” due to Tammy’s alleged desperation for attention.

Rumours of tension grew further after reports surfaced of Hembrow wiping away tears as Zukowski kissed her goodbye while dropping her off for her hens event before heading to his own bucks party, fuelling fresh speculation about the couple’s strained relationship dynamic amid family feuding

The hens party, which featured Tammy twirling to Shania Twain’s That Don’t Impress Me Much, culminated in a reunion with Zukowski and his bucks party at The Star Casino.

But, only days before, the couple sparked break-up rumours after eagle-eyed fans noticed they had briefly unfollowed each other on Instagram, adding fuel to the fire of a potential rift.

The couple, engaged since December last year after just three months of dating, are scheduled to wed in November in Byron Bay.
