Love Island alum Matt Zukowski has taken a bold step to affirm his devotion to fiancee Tammy Hembrow, sporting new ink with her name.
The romantic gesture follows controversy when Zukowski recently faced allegations of sending flirty messages to another woman.
The tattoo, revealed in a shirtless photograph posted by Zukowski on April 27, features Hembrow’s name written across his hip, adorned with a small heart, during their holiday in Bali.
In November 2023, Tammy got a similar tattoo with Zukowski’s name and a small heart on her hip.
The couple were spotted at the upscale Villa Malika resort, alongside Hembrow’s ex-fiance Reece Hawkins and their children, Wolf and Saskia, and Hembrow’s youngest daughter Posy, who she shares with ex Matt Poole, in what appeared to be a harmonious family getaway.
This tattoo marks the second time the couple have opted for matching tattoos, having previously inked matching love hearts on their forearms in December 2023.
This isn’t the first time the Love Island star has gotten a tattoo as a tribute to his current love interest, having also tattooed the name of his ex-girlfriend Genevieve on his behind.
The latest tattoo comes in the wake of recent break-up rumours, after fans noticed Hembrow photographed without her engagement ring earlier this month.
In March, the couple’s relationship status was further questioned when an influencer watchdog group, Aussie Influencer Opinions, exposed messages Zukowski had allegedly sent to another woman.
“I can confirm Matt Z sent his initial message saying ‘Still have a bf?’… on Thursday night,” they wrote on Instagram.
“Matt’s reasoning for sending the message was that he was trying to set up his mate … Matt does not follow [the user he messaged] and didn’t follow [them] at the time he sent his message.”
Despite these challenges, Hembrow and Zukowski silenced doubters by celebrating her 30th birthday together on April 22, squashing break-up rumours, with Zukowki’s latest gesture reaffirming their commitment to each other.
Hembrow, who has been engaged three times, accepted Zukowski’s proposal in December after a whirlwind three-month romance.
The proposal, which took place during a holiday in the Maldives, was captured in a touching Instagram video that garnered significant attention online.
Despite concerns about the speed of their engagement, Hembrow said that she is “so excited to get married” during an interview on the Red Hot podcast with Lily Brown on April 15.
“I’ve never been so happy and so secure in a relationship,” she said.
She revealed she was in full wedding planning mode, confirming a guest list of 110 people this year.
“I’ve had to be pretty brutal with my list – there’s heaps of people I wanted to invite that I’ve had to cut” she said.
“I have already written half my vows.”
