Tammy Hembrow announces shock engagement to Matt Zukowski

Fitness icon Tammy Hembrow has announced her engagement to reality TV star Matt Zukowski, less than two years after how now infamous engagement to ex Matt Poole.

Fitness icon Tammy Hembrow has announced she is engaged to reality star beau Matt Zukowski, just months after the couple began dating.

This Gold Coast influencer took to Instagram to share a video from their dreamy beachside proposal in the Maldives during their romantic island getaway in November.

The video captured an overjoyed Zukowski getting down on one knee, prompting an utterly shocked Hembrow, 29, to cover her face in disbelief, before joyously accepting the ring and melting into her now-fiance’s embrace.

“Never in my life have I felt so safe, so loved, so understood, so cared for. What a plot twist you were,” she captioned the video alongside a white heart emoji.

Zukowski, 28, popped the question on the beach during a romantic dinner setting, the couple encircled by a massive heart drawn in the sand, candlelight flickering in the background.

This engagement comes just three months after the duo made their relationship public, following intense speculation from Hembrow’s massive fanbase.

The fitness guru, boasting a staggering 17 million followers, put the dating rumours to rest at the premiere of the Stan Original series C*A*U*G*H*T in Sydney in September, where the two made their first public appearance as a couple.

The announcement also comes exactly two years after Hembrow became engaged to the father of her third child, Matt Poole, in November 2021.

She also shares two children, Wolf and Saskia, with Instagram personality Reece Hawkins.

Hembrow, who parted ways with Poole just months after the birth of their daughter Posy in June 2022, has clearly found love again.

Rumours of her new romance began swirling when she was spotted getting close to the 26-year-old Love Island Australia alum in early September.

While both Hembrow and Zukowski had been hinting at a new relationship, it wasn’t until September that they officially confirmed their blossoming love story.

Attending the glamorous Stan event together, they were the picture of romance, with Zukowski’s arm protectively around Hembrow, and even sharing a kiss inside the party.

Last month, Hembrow also showcased an intimate tribute tattoo which ignited engagement rumours.

While flaunting a pink bikini, the mother of three could be seen showing off a new addition to her tattoo collection, a her small ‘Matt’ tattoo with a heart next to it below her hip.
