Fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow’s latest move in her mad dash to get married has sparked concern among her followers who wonder why the rush just months into the relationship.

Gold Coast fitness icon Tammy Hembrow has sparked both excitement and concern among her massive online following with her latest announcement.

Just one month after her engagement, Hembrow is already deep into wedding preparations, having selected her bridesmaids for her upcoming nuptials to former ‘Love Island’ contestant, Matt Zukowski.

The move comes just four months into their relationship, raising eyebrows and stirring conversations among her 17.6 million Instagram followers.

In a recent Instagram post, the 29-year-old shared a video from an intimate lunch at Rae’s on Wategos in Byron Bay, where she surprised her sisters Amy, Emilee, Starlette, and Ava with elaborate gift boxes, each adorned with a pale pink bow.

These boxes, containing luxury items from Spanish fashion house Loewe and makeup from Hailey Bieber’s beauty brand Rhode, held the special request for them to be bridesmaids.

Tammy’s eldest sister, Amy Hembrow, is set to be the maid of honour.

However, this swift move towards matrimony has not gone unnoticed by her followers.

Many have expressed concern over the rapid pace of the relationship.

Comments range from lighthearted jests about Hembrow’s previous engagements to serious apprehensions about the potential consequences of rushing into marriage.

“She just wants to prove everyone’s wrong about her engagement … with a speedy wedding, she’s really desperate,” one commenter wrote while another commenter said “This seems so soon after just getting engaged. When is the wedding?”.

“It’s getting serious … Seems like they are in a tearing hurry …” another wrote.

Some followers pointed out the importance of prioritising her children, questioning Zukowski’s involvement in their lives.

“IMO this is strange. What normal guy would propose after a few months? Seems like you just wanna hurry into a dress. I still remember him bawling on love island LOL. Make better choices for your kids. The OG Matt only just moved out,” one follower wrote.

Hembrow, who has been previously engaged twice, shares children, Wolf, 8, and Saskia, 7, with her former fiance Reece Hawkins, before separating in 2018.

She also shares a daughter, Posy, 1, with former fiance and retired ironman champion Matt Poole, with who she split in 2022, after a lavish proposal on board a luxury yacht in 2021.

Many fans have questioned whether the mum of three will even go through with the wedding considering her track record of breaking up with partners while engaged.

“Plot twist: she actually gets to get married this time!! ” one commenter wrote jokingly.

Despite the mixed reactions, the couple, as revealed by Zukowski on his podcast ‘Where’s Your Head At?’, is planning a 2024 wedding, with plans to be married by the end of the year.

“I said to her ‘I want marry you within the year of this, I don’t want to make it go too long’,” he said on the podcast.

Zukowski proposed to Hembrow during a candlelit beach dinner in the Maldives in late November.

“It ended up being the most perfect moment that I shared with my now fiance,” Zukowski said on the podcast.
