Joe Jonas seems ready to talk about his divorce from Sophie Turner.

The US musician seemingly referenced his feelings about their separation in a teaser clip for new music he shared on TikTok. The lyrics, set to upbeat music, describe people begging him to cheer up.

“Come on, Joe, you got so much more to be grateful for,” he sings.

“Stop being sad because you’re making the room uncomfortable / OK I get it / I know you’re feeling so miserable / Sometimes I wish I had powers to be invisible,” the lyrics continue.

“Even baddies get saddies and that’s the hardest truth / Called your mommy and daddy, they don’t know what to do.”

The 32-year-old Jonas Brothers member captioned the clip, “Even baddies get saddies #newmusic.”

Page Six did not immediately receive a response from either star’s reps regarding the meaning behind the unreleased song.

Jonas filed for divorce from Turner, 28, in September 2023 after four years of marriage. In his filing, he claimed their union was “irretrievably broken.”

“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the pair said in a joint statement at the time.

While Jonas has remained widely hush-hush about their split, he asked fans not to trust any rumours or theories about the topic while he took the stage in Los Angeles with his brothers days after filing for divorce.

“It’s been a crazy week,” he reflected. “I just want to say, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. OK? Thank you, everyone, for the love and support to me and my family. I love you guys.”

His and Turner’s divorce was fairly messy from the start. About two weeks after the break-up news emerged, the Game of Thrones star filed a lawsuit to secure “the immediate return” of their two children to England.

She claimed the Burnin’ Up hitmaker had previously agreed over Christmas 2022 that they would make the UK their “forever home” for their family, but he was holding back their children’s passports so they could not leave the US.

The pair share daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 22 months.

Jonas slammed the lawsuit as “abuse of the legal system” in a statement to Page Six at the time.

“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending,” he said via his rep. “When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst.”

In October 2023, they came to a temporary custody agreement, but in March, Turner asked a judge to reactivate their divorce as they disagreed on child custody and property agreement.

The mother-of-two spoke out about their divorce during an interview with British Vogue earlier this month and conceded that she was “unhappy” about the way their separation played out in the media, especially the parts regarding her children.

“They’re the victims in all of this,” she candidly reflected. “But I think we’re doing the best we can.”

“I’m confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that’s all that I can ask for.”

She also said she has hope that they can all reunite as a family for important events post-divorce.

“My dream is to have a huge Christmas where my daughters can have their dad there, Joe’s whole side of the family, their grandparents,” she explained.

“I don’t care about the politics, I just want the girls to feel loved and have everyone show up for them.”

Turner has since moved on with property developer Peregrine Pearson, while Jonas is going strong with model Stormi Bree.
