Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are ready to put their tumultuous custody battle behind them and focus on amicably raising their young daughters.

The former couple, who split last month, released a joint statement about their co-parenting dynamic just hours after reaching a temporary custody agreement for 3-year-old Willa and 1-year-old Delphine.

“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK,” the pair said in a statement on Tuesday, local time.

“We look forward to being great co-parents.”

Earlier in the day, Page Six confirmed that US singer Jonas, 34, and British actress Turner, 27, believed an “amicable resolution on all issues between them” was on the horizon after attending mediation last week.

Per court documents, the pair agreed that Turner would be able to take the girls back to the UK from October 9 to October 21.

The Game of Thrones actress was all smiles while out and about with the two girls in New York City on Monday, her first of 12 days with the little ones.

Once her time is up, Turner has to deliver the children back to their father, who will have them until November 2.

The exes will continue to swap custody through January 7, 2024, meaning the Jonas Brothers singer will spend Thanksgiving with the little ones, while Turner will have Christmas with them.

Jonas filed for divorce from Turner last month after four years of marriage. Despite keeping silent for a few weeks, she later sued her ex for the “immediate return” of their daughters to England.

According to Turner, the pair had planned to raise their girls across the pond before their split.

She also claimed Jonas was refusing to hand over their passports so that she could take them back to her home country.

However, a rep for Jonas later clarified that he did not “abduct” their children and insisted that the singer was “OK with the kids being raised both in the US and the UK.”

Meanwhile, a source told Page Six at the time that the DNCE frontman didn’t want to “fight” his soon-to-be ex-wife as long as they could “come to a fair agreement on the kids.”

While Turner and Jonas have reached an agreement on custody, it’s unclear how the rest of their divorce proceedings will be handled given the fact that she is fighting for their case to be heard in the UK, while Jonas is arguing for a US case.
