It seems Sophie Turner has quite the support group around her in the wake of her split from singer Joe Jonas.

Not only has she found an ally in Taylor Swift, but she has also found a confidant in Australian actress Olivia DeJonge.

Turner, 27, and the Perth-raised Elvis star, 25, have been spotted on several occasions together in New York over the last few days as Turner continues to deal with the breakdown of her four-year marriage.

The duo were seen in Tribeca on September 27 as they grabbed drinks at Bubby’s restaurant on Hudson Street, near Swift’s apartment where Turner is staying while she settles her divorce from Jonas.

The next day, Turner and DeJonge were seen going for a stroll in the Tribeca neighbourhood, holding hands as they looked deep in conversation during their walk.

DeJonge was also by Turner’s side yesterday when they joined Swift, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and newly single Hugh Jackman at the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets game in the Big Apple.

The actresses became firm friends last year after starring on the TV drama The Staircase, which can be streamed on Binge.

In the eight-part series true crime docu-series based on true events, Turner and DeJonge play stepsisters Margaret Ratliff and DeJonge as Caitlin Atwater, respectively.

The Aussie actress went on to star in Baz Luhrmann’s epic biopic, Elvis, playing the late King of rock’n’roll’s wife Priscilla Presley.

“I had Elvis and The Staircase come out all within a few months, which was a really exciting experience,” she told GQ last year.

“I’ve been blessed to work with some amazing actors and I’ve learned a tremendous amount from them these past couple of years. They’re all people I’ve looked up to for years, so to be able to share a space with them was a really big honour.”

Turner and Jonas announced their divorce last month after four years and two children: Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.

“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” their wrote in a statement at the time.

“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
