It’s been a huge year for business in Toowoomba.
At every turn, new businesses are opening up – from food venues to fashion outlets, Toowoomba is rich in places to shop.
Grand Central particularly has welcomed a wealth of new shops into the centre.
Here is a list of stores that have made their mark with customers in Grand Central:
General Pants
One of the newest additions to the shopping centre, the fashion store opened in the first week of November next door to Myer on Level 2.
Grand Central centre manager Claire Torkington said the addition was a positive one for the shopping centre.
“Our top priority is to provide retail experiences that evolve alongside the needs of our community, and we’re sure Toowoomba will embrace General Pants Co. as a great fit for our region.” she said.
Brooklyn Donuts and Coffee Co
From the moment Brooklyn Donuts and Coffee Co opened their doors in August, the store has had a constant stream of customers excited by the products.
Boasting their own original, exclusive recipes, Brooklyn Donuts and Coffee Co creates on-the-spot treats, rivalling other businesses with their unique model.
“With us and our business model, what you see is what you get,” Co-owner Adam Sharvell said.
“All our products are made with real Belgian chocolate, purely melted.
“Our original glaze is our own recipe.”
You’ll find it outside Woolworths on Level 1.
Catalog Clothing
An inclusive, affordable new clothing store has opened its doors at Grand Central this week, boasting a unique range designed for all ages.
Catalog Queensland stocks everything from dresses, tops. pants, skirts – and everything is designed and selected with the customer in mind.
Catalog Queensland state manager Chanelle Grierson said the store was something fresh and new for Toowoomba.
“What sets us apart from other retailers in Grand Central is our capability to hand pick our products,” she said.
“Listening to our customer wants and needs gives us the ability to stock garments that suit the individual store and cater to our clientele.”
