Brooklyn Donuts and Coffee Co opens store in Grand Central, Toowoomba

Toowoomba’s newest food outlet has opened its doors in spectacular fashion, serving more than 180 customers within their first few hours of opening.

“Doughnut” hesitate in rushing to Toowoomba’s brightest new store.

Brooklyn Donuts and Coffee Co has opened its doors for the first time in Toowoomba, and co-owner Adam Sharvell said the first day had been one of their most successful.

Boasting their own original, exclusive recipes, Brooklyn Donuts and Coffee Co creates on-the-spot treats, rivalling other businesses with their unique model.

“With us and our business model, what you see is what you get,” Mr Sharvell said.

“All our products are made with real Belgian chocolate, purely melted.

“Our original glaze is our own recipe.

“It’s all exclusive, and we use all real ingredients.

“Obviously that sets us apart from others.”

The new store has hired 42 people, and in their first few hours of operation they served 185 people – a promising start to what the team hopes will be a long-term venture in Toowoomba.
