Good morning!
To you from Emmy winner Jennifer Coolidge.
Who, at 61-years-old, won her first ever Emmy after being nominated (also for the first time) on Tuesday.
And graciously accepted before being played off way too soon.

The Aussie Emmys are getting a make over
Australian TV's night of nights are moving from Channel Nine to Channel 7 after 17-years.
The awards, which will be in their 63rd year in 2023, will broadcast on Channel 7 and its streaming platform 7 Plus on Sunday, June 18 next year.
We thank Nine for its enduring contribution to Australian culture.

Summer is going to be wet. Again,
The BoM has officially declared La Niña is back.
The herpes of weather systems is underway again, bringing with it typically wetter than average conditions to Australia's north and, more populous, east.
It's the third La Niña summer in a row and ups the risk of rain and flooding in the coming months.
Apparently experiencing two La Niñas in a row is pretty common, but three, according to the Bureau is far more unusual.
If you need me, I'll be in Perth.
A #LaNiña event is underway in the Pacific Ocean. The Bureau's 3-month climate outlook shows a high chance of above-average rainfall for the eastern half of Australia. La Niña is not the only driver influencing this wet outlook. Learn more - https://t.co/Sxi7noGXVN pic.twitter.com/JJ7aYtxEEm

Great Australians nab the tickets of a lifetime
The Queen's funeral has turned into a rather morbidly exclusive event.
On Tuesday Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced Buckingham Palace asked him to invite "10 Australians who have made extraordinary contributions to their communities" to attend the funeral, alongside him and Governor-General, on September 19.
Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott is going. So too is Professor Helen Milroy, who is Australia’s first Indigenous Doctor and WA's Australian of the Year in 2021. She's a legend and a pioneer in research, training and education in both Aboriginal and child mental health.
Also heading along is Shanna Whan. The Local Hero Australian of the Year for her advocacy work leading a grassroots charity called Sober in the Country.
An honour ðð»

Happy families lasted (checks watch) a day
The Houses of Windsor and Sussex are back at it. Reportedly. Just days after the Fab Four - William, Catherine, Harry and Meghan, appeared together to thank well wishes, they are fighting. Again. Reportedly.
This time it's because Harry - as one of the only royals to be deployed on active service - has been denied the right to wear his military dress to his Granny's funeral.
"All working members will be wearing military uniform" according to reports when they attend the procession to Westminster Hall, the vigil at Westminster Hall; the State Funeral service at Westminster Abbey and the Queen's committal service at St George's Chapel.
This means Prince Harry and Prince Andrew, as non-working members of the royal family, will not be wearing military uniforms.
According to the Palace, Prince Andrew will only wear his uniform "as a special mark of respect" at the final vigil at Westminster Hall.
Harry wasn't afforded the same latitude. Apparently living abroad is a crime worse than being associated with an international sex trafficker.
'I am told tonight that Harry is insisting that his book is published in November.'

I think we've seen this film before.
Meanwhile, the Queen welcomed and ushered in a new PM just days from her death. Standing and with a smile but King Charles, just a few days into his reign, has got a bit peeved at a pen.
A troublesome inkpot at his proclamation, now it is just ink... King Charles III (who has been on the go non stop since last Thursday) gets tetchy. #Royals https://t.co/OLY0ZMf9Qd

Fair cop though as the bloke not only lost his mum, he did just inherit the Crown, start a new job and do it all while grieving publicly.
Goodbye to another Monarch
Actor, musician, artist and revered Victorian Aboriginal elder Uncle Jack Charles is being mourned as cheeky tenacious "father of black theatre" after his death, aged 79.
His niece Ajia Jacklyn Charles-Hamilton told the ABC on Tuesday it had been an emotional 24-hours as family gathered by her uncle's bedside at the Royal Melbourne Hospital before he passed away peacefully.
RIP ð Uncle Jack Charles

There's been a kangaroo murder
The first death by kangaroo in Australia since 1936 has occurred in WA.
A 77-year-old man who reportedly kept the animal as a pet has died.
The three-year-old roo had to be killed by police to get to the man - an alpaca breeder - who suffered serious injuries on his farm. He unfortunately succumbed to them.
More coin
While the Reserve Bank of Australia and Assistant Minister for the Mint, Andrew Leigh, told us a few days ago that King Charles will replace Queen Elizabeth on our currency, all bets are off the $5 note.
When Queen Elizabeth II first appeared on our coins in 1953, they were shillings & pence.

As Assistant Minister for the Mint, I joined @RoyalAustMint CEO Leigh Gordon to clear up some confusion about the process for putting King Charles III on Australia's coins in 2023. pic.twitter.com/B1Ae8Wqo3A
On Tuesday Leigh said King Charles might not be getting on the $5.
Telling ABC Radio, that it's a "historic change" for Australian currency, adding while coins will be updated with King Charles III's effigy, a decision is yet to be made on the $5 dollar note.
Shadow Attorney-General Julian Lesser is rooting for Charles.
Calls by the Australian Republican Movement to take Queen Elizabeth off our $5 notes and Charles off our coins is of poor taste and poor timing. 1/2
