Spice Boys
Indian$$
This small but lively restaurant has found an audience of locals who appreciate chef Del Khan's commitment to serving food that pays homage to his homeland. The share plate of chicken tikka, lamb cutlets and kebab proves a winning entree, with the heat of the meat mitigated by a delicate drizzle of cucumber raita. For mains, chilli-spiked fiery lamb vindaloo is vibrant and fragrant and balanced with a bowl of fluffy white rice. Also worth cooing over is the spinach and lentil dahl for its complex orchestration of spices and whisper of fresh herbs. Cool things down with a soothing mango lassi.
