With its picture menu, teahouse decor and oriental murals, Sinofood looks like any other Chinese restaurant, but some of Newcastle’s best-known chefs are spotted here tucking into the spicy Sichuan-based cooking (try the chilli-laden Chongqing chicken) and lunchtime yum cha.
