Richard's on the Park
12.5/20
Asian$$
In the heart of Sydney's noodle belt, the Seng Hong Bistro caters for Western palates as well as offering south-east Asian favourites such as Singapore noodles, Thai beef salad and Vietnamese and Khmer dishes. At 7pm mid-week, there was no rush at the counter and the clean, modern and spacious surroundings, well clear of noisy gamers, delivered a relaxed dining experience. Weekday specials include $8 soups and $9.90 T-bones, although the extensive Asian XO-sauced specialities are what the chef brags about. Steak and schnitzel at under $10 beyond reproach, although the soggy $15 barramundi could have been anything.
