Chur Burger

Across the Ditch, ‘chur’ is a tick of approval. As in, ‘chur, bro’. At this all-in burger diner, let’s hear a resounding ‘chur’ for the brioche-soft, only slightly crusty, sesame-strewn bun that wraps everything from pulled pork (with slaw and fennel mayo) to a spiced chickpea fritter with beetroot and labna (the vego version). If you’re not into burgers, there are snacks, sides and sweets: from flaky-soft miso brisket with fresh chilli and pickles to excellent sweet potato fries and a pretty cool smashed pav (after all, the NZers invented the pavlova, right?). Smash a craft beer or two (including some NZ imports) while you’re at it.
