Not so much a shack as a '60s red-brick block, this place specialises in what they themselves call 'Indian junk food'. The set-up's basic, with laminated tables and a humming drinks fridge, and the prices are so low they look like misprints. The menu roams all over India and spice levels are authentic. Bhel puri is a tangy mix of puffed rice, fried noodles, roasted lentils and potato cubes, while raw tomato, cucumber and onion add a moister kind of crunch. Masala dosa is crisp with drinkable sambar and cooling coconut chutney. Respite from the heat of green chillies, besan battered and fried deep gold, lies in tamarind dip.
