4, If you’ve tried, but failed, to score a booking at chef Annie Smithers’ bijou Trentham restaurant Du Fermier, here’s a cunning workaround. Smithers is bringing her French farmhouse dishes to the NGV Garden Restaurant, to coincide with the NGV’s 2023 Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition, Pierre Bonnard: Designed by India Mahdavi. 5. “Go big or go home” could be the mantra when Richmond restaurant Untitled partners with Blackmore Wagyu for a deluxe dinner on June 20. Welsh-born chef Matt Woodhouse will pair wagyu with luxurious ingredients such as truffles and caviar across a five-course menu, with matched wines from Adelaide Hills winery Vinteloper. $200, untitledrichmond.com.au

6. Ora King Salmon, from New Zealand’s Marlborough Sounds, is teaming up with Restaurant Lume in South Melbourne for a one-off dinner on June 22.
