Purple Patch
Purple Patch is an extremely new kid on the bayside block, bringing all things organic, eco-friendly, vegetarian and vegan to Sandringham's coffee scene. While the interior is charmingly lo-fi, with its polished concrete floor and mismatched retro furniture, the coffee turns the dial way up. Purple Patch is using Balaclava's magnificent Monk Bodhi Dharma coffee ($4) and Schulz organic milk to produce a well-rounded, zingy brew with zero bitterness and a sparkly linger on the tongue. The simple menu is all fresh, all house-made, and all meat-free. Feels good, doesn't it?
