Pier Provedore
Cafe
There's something lazy and languishing about Pier Provedore with its communal table that's strewn with copies of Gourmet Traveller and surrounded by shelves of quality dry goods. With a wicker and wood fitout, it's homely and modern at the same time. A blackboard menu offers breakfasts of panettone French toast or bruschetta with local tomatoes, basil, feta and poached egg. Lunch might be a house-made beef and burgundy pie with Red Hill Kitchen tomato sauce, or chicken and rice soup made to grandma's recipe, or just a simple baguette with brie, quince paste and cornichons.
