Mart 130
Modern Australian$$
It's a shame to actually get on the light rail at Stop 130- better to while away a delicious morning inside at Mart 130. Take a seat in the cosy enclosed deck of the former station, all potted herbs and repurposed wood, and tuck into brioche toast with mascarpone, candied walnuts and vanilla poached pears (so many little bean flecks) or a hearty stack of nutty corn fritters, fragrant with coriander. You could go the scramble with luxurious additions of parmesan and truffle oil, or a simple long black with a piece of cherry pie. Service shows absolute grace under pressure- even on (understandably) busy weekends.
