Barwon Edge Boathouse
Contemporary$$
On the banks of the Barwon, this bright, open diner is a relaxed refuge. Below it, walkers and rowers pass, and kids run on the lawns (watch out for snakes), while grown-up diners share silky pate, brioche and cornichons, try fragrant chermoula-spiced braised lamb, or dig into choc-cherry trifle. Staff do a great job, and there are wood-fired pizzas on Sunday afternoons.
