Panama House

An afternoon cocktail and a po'boy (a sweet-rolled combo of popcorn shrimp and chipotle mayo) could set you up very nicely for the evening. A taco or two hits the spot - soft tortillas with, say, cider pork or jerk chicken, and a line-up of salsas. If you're dining, segue into sweetly melting baby back ribs or the daily ceviche offering. Lunch is a better deal here - night-time cocktails and grazing could quickly tip the budget. But it's hard to resist a shared carafe ($45) of smuggler's punch - white rum, golden rum, cointreau, pineapple and lime - and a couple of those tacos and po'boys.
