Lemonia
Modern Australian
You could almost miss this tiny cottage, isolated on a sharp-turn corner at the bottom of Booth Street, but for the people hanging around outside waiting for coffee or a table. It's brand new, but sweetly fitted out with preloved vintage tradies gear from ladders to spades, in some form of homage, perhaps. A long window lets in light, looking out to a pretty green park. Espresso is bold, tart with citrus acidity, and there's Bonsoy for soy drinkers. The kitchen is busy doing egg-white omelettes with baby spinach and leek, such healthiness offset by the smell of chips in the air.
