Engadine Tavern
14/20
Contemporary$$
As soon as you step into the newly renovated bistro, you're greeted by a bunch of friendly staff, which seems to be the main reason they've survived since the '50s; it's like you're dining with family. What the schnitzel lacked in taste, the chicken and mushroom crepes (a cheesy goodness that you'll crave for days) certainly made up for. Though rough-looking the garlic bread was tasty, and the side salad that accompanied the average-size meals was fresh. The highlight was definitely the dessert mixed plate - it's hard to settle for just one.
