A SECOND man involved in a serious crash in Katherine earlier this month has died from his injuries.
The 19-year-old man died yesterday.
The 19-year-old along with a 24-year-old man were flown to Royal Darwin Hospital in critical conditions after the crash on Thursday December 10.
The two other occupants, including the driver, were injured but not critically.
Police released a statement on December 21 to say the 24-year-old man had died.

The Holden Commodore, driven by a 20-year-old man, crashed into a light pole on a median strip after being seen by police allegedly travelling at high speed in the northbound lane of the Stuart Highway.

Several days after the crash the man was charged with driving a motor vehicle causing harm or death, recklessly endangering and cause serious harm, breach of bail, driving a vehicle in a dangerous manner and driving under the influence of alcohol.
His charges are expected to be upgraded to include two counts of dangerous driving causing death.
The man remains in custody and will appear in Darwin Local Court on February 10, 2021.
