A MAN accused of drunkenly driving an ATV buggy and causing a crash that almost killed his cop girlfriend has faced court.
Michael Dixon, 35, faced Darwin Local Court yesterday charged with driving a vehicle causing harm or death, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving both unregistered and uninsured.

Dixon’s partner, a member of the NT Police Road Policing Command, was also on the buggy when it rolled several times on Bees Creek Road in the Darwin rural area in January.
She was seriously injured and spent several days in hospital.
Dixon’s matter was adjourned to return to court on June 6.
