TERRITORIAN draft prospects Ned Stevens and Ashanti Bush have been announced in the 2021 NAB AFL and AFLW Academy squads.
Stevens joins a list of 21 draft hopefuls on the NAB AFL Academy Squad, while Bush has been named in the NAB AFLW Academy squad of 20.
At 195cm tall, Stevens has impressed as a ruckman and a deep forward for Waratah, while also being a key member of the Tracy Village basketball side.

Known for his height and impressive leaping ability, he has ties to the Gold Coast Suns Academy and plays alongside his older brother Joel, who has transitioned to SANFL football at West Adelaide.
Bush hails from Barunga, where she recently won the best-and-fairest for Arnhem Crows in the Big Rivers Football League, and as a forward is known for her great pace, football IQ and kicking ability.
She represents Darwin Buffettes where she has won two under-18 girls’ grand finals, and is a key component in the Buffettes’ finals push this NTFL season, and also impressed in the NRL NT with Nightcliff.

“Ned is a genuine draft prospect for 2021. He has great breakaway pace, especially given his size. He uses his body well.
