FIVE Territory stars were put through their paces in a bid to be selected for the female Indigenous All Stars team to face off against the Maori All Stars next year.
The Darwin-based quintet of Latoniya Norris, Bianca Stokes, Tishara Cahill-Davern, Ashanti Bush and Tahlia Corrie were all selected to try out for the squad after big showings in the NRL NT season.
The five were chosen based on suggestions of Bo de la Cruz and Chris Brown and will be put to the test ahead of a possible selection.

Norris, in particular, will be one to watch having been awarded the Gaynor Maggs Medal for a massive season in the undefeated 2020 Darwin Sistaz outfit, which included 21 tries.
Also in the group were fellow Sistaz’ stars Stokes, Corrie and Cahill-Davern, who was awarded the best on ground in the 2020 grand final against Palmerston, and Nightcliff Dragons star Bush.
Up against players from around the country the five were put through running drills, vertical leaps and medicine ball throws to assess their potential for the final squad.
If selected they have the chance to make the final team that will play the Maori All Stars in February next year.
NRL NT pathways manager Duncan MacGillivray said all five were a good chance of making the squad.
“They’re as good a chance as anyone to get in the squad – just need to make a good, solid impression of themselves,” MacGillivray told the NT News.
“It will be huge for them and for the NT to have that representation in the Indigenous All Stars game.
