A STABBING victim has been transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition after a violent incident in Tennant Creek on Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in Bornite Street at 10.30pm.
They found a 42-year-old man with a significant chest wound and provided first aid until an ambulance arrived.

The man was scheduled to be medevaced to the Royal Adelaide Hospital on Thursday.
A 38-year-old woman known to the man was arrested by police at the scene. She was assisting police with their inquiries.
The area has been declared a crime scene and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Police are currently appealing for witnesses to the incident or events leading up to it, to contact police on 131 444 or report it directly to the front counter of the Tennant Creek Police Station.
