STRIKE Force Viper has charged four people, including two kids, in Alice Springs for a raft of alleged offences across town.

The two youths, ages 17 and 15, were charged yesterday in relation to an unlawful entry on Bloomfield Street on February 2 where a number of items, including a credit card, were stolen.

The pair allegedly used the card a service station later that evening.

The 17-year-old boy, who was on bail at the time of the offending, was charged with obtaining benefit by deception. The 15-year-old male was charged with obtaining benefit by deception and breaching a suspended sentence.

A 21-year-old man was also charged yesterday for allegedly breaking into a Todd Mall restaurant and stealing a quantity of alcohol before transporting it away in a waiting shopping trolley.

The man was later found and the alcohol and trolley was returned to the restaurant. He was arrested and charged with one count of unlawful Entry and will appear before court later today.

Finally, a 30-year-old was arrested in relation to an aggravated assault incident in which a woman was physically assaulted in Alice Springs on February 7.

Viper members were conducting patrols in Larapinta when they observed the man who had a warrant out against him.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of breaching a DVO and one count of warrant of apprehension.

He was remanded in custody and will appear before court this afternoon.
