WELL Territorians, the time has come.
In just one more day, we will have survived our first Covid lockdown in more than a year.
For a lot of people it has been really tough.
Yes, compared to the rest of the word, we’ve had it really good. For the most part, we have had a level of freedom that no one else has experienced throughout this pandemic.
But, suddenly having your freedom taken away is always going to hit hard.
However, we didn’t let it get to us, and we managed to quash this virus in just a couple of weeks.
The restrictions are looking like they’re about to be lifted tomorrow, meaning our lives can regain a sense of normality.
However, this does not mean we can become complacent.
Everyone needs to keep up all of the Covid protocols for these last two days. That means wearing your mask, keeping your distance and washing your hands.

Even though we will be able to start doing things again like heading to the gym or going out dancing, it’s still really important to keep our heads so we don’t have another outbreak on our hands.
Apart from a few bad apples who spoil it for the rest of us, the vast majority of Territorians have worked so hard to keep each other safe.
There’s not long now, so let’s stick it out for the good of the Territory.
