NT Major Events Company lands sixth in ventex Top 100 Agencies and Event Organisers Index

As the dry season comes to a close, staff members at NT Major Events Company are celebrating global recognition after placing sixth in the world for excellence in events.

This month, Eventex Awards revealed its Top 100 Agencies and Event Organizers for 2024, with a record 1207 entries from 62 countries to choose from.

The index, based on organisers that have consistently demonstrated excellence in the industry for the past 3 years and the number of Eventex awards won during that period, favoured the NT Major Events Company, who landed sixth in the world.

The Territory company as also the lone Australian representative to make the top 10.

Major Events Company Acting chief executive Trevor Cox said the top shelf finish was a win for the Territory.

“It’s rewarding and exciting for the Territory to be recognised globally,” he said.

“Our events are impactful and truly unique.”

Some of the NT-based events considered by the judging panel included the Million Dollar Fish and BASSINTHEGRASS Music Festival.

Mr Cox said his team was motivated to make the Territory better through its unique events.

“Making the Territory a better place through events is what drives us and there really is nowhere like the NT for people to immerse themselves in our unique cultures and landscapes while enjoying world-class events of all kinds.”

Ranked at number one was Qatar Vision Production Company followed by the Netherlands’ WINK Creative Experiential Agency and France’s LEAP Creative Studio.
